Childcare Advocate Resource & Education for Providers (CARE) is a Washington State network of Licensed Childcare Providers, retired Licensed Childcare Providers, Childcare Centers and involved Citizens including Childcare parents and other Childcare Professionals.
C.A.R.E.'s primary childcare advocate is networking and training several volunteer staff of:
26 licensed Providers in 20 Washington cities.
Seven of our volunteer staff members are bilingual in English/Spanish and 1 volunteer staff member speaks four languages: English/Spanish/Japanese and Russian.
All volunteer staff have signed a confidentiality disclosure agreement.
C.A.R.E. provides Advocacy, Resource & Education to support Washington State’s Childcare Providers by working in collaboration with Washington State Family Child Care Association (WSFCCA), Eastern Washington Family Child Care Association (EWFCCA) & Service Employees International Union #925 (SEIU).
C.A.R.E. offers information, support, & assistance to Providers navigating Licensing Regulations and WAC interpretations, as well as STARs Training, Seminars & Workshops.
C.A.R.E. provides Administrative Hearing Representation to Providers dealing with adverse licensing actions imposed by DEL and also offers referrals to Attorneys who have experience with DLR/CPS and DEL.
C.A.R.E. is in the process of working with several Attorneys to develop a pool of statewide legal assistance that will provide knowledgeable, experienced, affordable legal representation to all Childcare Providers.
